As a positive parenting educator, I am passionate about sharing the way language shifts impact our children. Our words have immense power in profoundly shaping the minds and behaviors of our children. Therefore, our choice of words and our style of communication are vital in influencing their self-esteem, emotional health, view of the world, and more. Children are sponges observing and soaking up how we communicate with them, and with others. There are many ways we can use language to promote a positive mindset within our children and every interaction is an opportunity to build our children up into the amazing individuals they are capable of becoming.
